There is an awesome OVA that came out around the time these episodes aired that shows a battle between Naruto and Sasuke. It's not canon but it brought up a lot of speculation about how the battle between them would end, especially after Naruto said they would both die in the anime/manga. It's called Naruto x UT and it was actually a short animation given out to a small number of people to promote Naruto merch, but it's really good! Consider giving it a watch now that you're at this point in the story
